Check Code P1784
2000 Dakota Auto, 2X4, 4.7L V8
I have never had any shifting problems from my dakota... This morning my truck's transmission slipped real hard only one time, and immediately after, my check enginge light came on. I dont think it shifted into overdrive after that because the RPMs ran higher than usual. Went to Autozone to get the code read and they came up with: P1784. On an unrelated subject, I replaced the upper radiator hose and thermostat last night. Dont think this would have anything to do with what happened this morning.
Does anyone know this code?
