I traded my '95 Dakota on a '98 Dakota with a 5.2L, auto. trans., 4x4, reg. cab. Filled gas tank when low fuel light came on and took 18 gallons of gas for 50.00. What size gas tank does it have? No owners manual or jack. Bought a manual off ebay but won't get it for a few days, what type of jack do I need. Kept the one from my '95 because I had to get that one also, it's a scissor jack.

 

probably a 22 gal tank. that's what my 97 5.2 has

 

My 3.9 has the 22 gal tank as well. it takes about 17gal when the lights on. 18 was the record, i was nervous lol

 

I just filled mine and then got on the interstate with a gas can and ran it till it died. took right at 22 gals to refill it.
