Default Power splice

Previously owned a generation 1 '95 dakota and traded it on a generation 2 '98 dakota. Enjoyed the info, advice, and useful knowledge that the owners posted on the generation 1 site and hope it is the same here. Do the generation 2 dakota's have the same problem with the power splice as the generation 1 dakota's.

Default power splice

Not really sure as I didn't have any trouble with mine but it is discussed frequently in the generation 1 forums about problems with the power splice getting corroded and needing cleaning and redone. Just figured if it was a problem with the generation 2 dakota's also, some would know on this forum.

I've never had any trouble like that with the dakota I have now or the '98 dakota that I had before. The '98 had more than it's share of problems, but that was never one of them, and I drove that truck for over 5 years. As far as I know, that isn't a problem with these trucks, at least not that I've seen on DF.
