Question My 0xygen sensor monitor and Evaporative Emissions monitor will not reset... help

I've drove the vehicle for 580 miles as of today after i've done some work to my 1998 5.2 v8. When I plug my obdII code scanner into the connect port, i have no codes come up, but, my Oxygen sensor monitor is not ready and my Evaporative emmissions monitor is not ready.

On all other vehicles i've had, after 50 to 100 miles, these monitors reset. I have no check engine light on, no codes stored, no pending codes.

When i turn the ignition, all the dash lights turn on (including the service engine light, so its not a blown bulb)

I'm stumped here.... the autostore said some cars take up to 600 miles for some of the monitors to reset..

some help here please

thanks in advance

Try disconnecting the battery for 20 minutes then reconnect and see if the issue is cleared.

sounds like you're actually getting those codes in history mode... disconnecting the battery should work.

If disconnecting the battery doesn't work, try using a different gasoline. Make sure it's a HIGH quality gasoline, and doesn't have more ethanol in it than 10%. The only way you can be sure it has 10% or less is by using a big chain store, but even still you can't be positive (Which sucks)...
Just another idea that may help.

If the monitors still won't run after the battery disconnect, just drive the thing on the highway for like 300 miles. It's a pain in the ***, but at highway speeds, with engine at temp, the monitors should run.
