Default need a yoke where do i get one???

i blew the tranny in my 98 dakota and found a 94 tranny for 100 bucks so i thought id give it a shot and everything bolts up just fine but the driveshaft wont fit properly on the splines of the tranny so i need a yoke off of a 94 dodge dakota but cant find one anywhere! where can i get one ive already tried junkyards and no luck

I think that transmission is going to cause you a lot more problems than just the driveshaft yokes! It doesn't have the electronic governor valve like your original transmission did, so the computer might be thrown into "limp-in" mode when you try to drive it.

I hope I'm wrong though!

there was only one wire hooked up to the original tranny and that wire hooks up to the new tranny so i dont beleive that should be a problem

so i got the tranny swapped and started it up and put it in first and all seems good, now all it needs is a driveshaft lol but i still need a yoke and the only one i found is in a junkyard which is like a swamp so i doubt id be able to jack the truck up to even get to the yoke so back to my original question where can i get a yoke?

i have also heard that a lot of 98 trannys are only able to swap with 98 trannys because of some electrical issues but i also beleive that its not an issuse with mine because its a 5 speed correct me if im wrong but i beleive that is why there will be no problems also the 98 and 94 tranny look exactly the same and have the same wires except the speed sensor on the 94 is replaced with a plug on the 98 other than that its all the same

Oh... I didn't realize it was a 5 speed when I made my first comment. Ignore that.
