Default So today I found out...

my truck is in Kilometers. The previous owner stated it was a canadian truck with the MPH cluster in it. So I checked the trip and set up a mile marker test and well lets just say that I now have 100,000(roughly) miles on my truck down from 166,000.

Took alot of weight off my shoulders since i thought id be replacing major components soon. Has anyone else had this happen to them? lol

thing is the guy sold it so me for a low figure because of the mileage. I got one hell of a deal. I have had it for about 10k miles and havnt had any problems(excluding ones that were my fault) whatsoever!

If it count's in kilometers then isn't the speedometer in kilometers?

it has something to do with the computer i was told by the dealership. But hell the trip said i was getting like 340 miles to the tank and i thought that was a little odd. If that were in kilometers that would be about 212 miles, which is about where my truck should be at.

and i did several mile marker tests, and the results at the end where all the same, the trip and odo read 1.6 at the end of the mile, which is roughly how many km are in a mile.

Unless my odo is really screwed to **** then it is safe to assume it is still reading as kilometers.
