Default dropin 'em

Ok boys and girls, I have run into a bit of a problem here. The R/F spindle on my truck needs to be replaced because of the holes for the caliper pins being striped. It already had oversized pins in it so that's not an option. I could maybe drop in a helicoil and put the stock size bolts back in but I'm a lil sketchy about trusting my brakes to helicoils. I plan on lowering the truck in the future anyway so I thought I might go ahead and find some droped spindles and just get rid of the problem all together but I cant seem to find spindles, So... Where can I find a set of spindles for this thing? Has anyone on here used them for a drop? Has anyone tried the helicoils for the caliper pins? Any other ideas????

I think your truck looks good the way it sits. I'd leave it at the same ride height and just go to a bone yard and get a replacement caliper mount. Trucks look cool dropped but I'd rather have one for it's intended purpose instead of limiting it's capabilities with a drop. I don't know of drop spindles for the Daks, but I've never looked for them. I know I'm not helping much, just giving an opinion.

Well, thanks for the feedback and the opinions fellas. I went with a junkyard replacement for now. When I do my drop I wont loose any of my trucks capabilities except for maybe a little ground clearance as I am not planing on slaming it. Using droped spindles allows for a conservative drop without compromising ride quality, payload, or steering geometry. I am just looking for a more aggressive stance instead of my 2wd looking like a 4wd. I hate the way 90% of the trucks sold today have hardly any difference in stance between 2 & 4WD. I had an 07 frontier that needed a lift just so you could tell it wasn't a 2wd. Mine is 2wd, I want it to look like a 2wd.
