Nice pictures for sure. But damn those tires are bald lol. I'm guessing you don't really care since it's just getting lifted and you will have to get new ones then though.

What kind of camera is that?

Exactly, the front end has a bad alignment problem, truck has 181,000 miles on it, so I also am assuming the ball joints, etc. are all shot. thats why the front tires look like that, that's part of the reason for the 3/4 ton swap, the other part is there's no such lift for a dakota that I want.

it is sort of a daily driver, I drive it to work, which is less than a mile from my home. and it barely runs, it has about 5 pounds oil pressure, no power and barely runs, it's just flat wore out, but the body & interior are clean, which is my reason for all this, I am also looking at putting a 5.7 hemi in it... so fix the engine and suspension problems all in one shot.

i would suggest a 5.9 vs a 5.7. 5.9 will be bolt in just about. 5.7 you might as well redo the entire wiring on the truck.

I agree it would basically bolt in because I believe they are the same block, but... that being said, the 5.7 would be a lot more powerful, no? - unless I built a 360 and built it up a bit I guess...
