i have a 2002 dodge dakota with a 4.7 liter v-8. was driving down the x-way got off on my exit turned the corner and then nothing truck just reved up no clonk or anything tried to put in 4x4 to pull myself off the road and that didn't work either. I had no problems with my trans before know. any ideas?

 

what exacly is wrong w/ it?
does it feel like its reving to high/low?

 

i dont know whats wrong thats what i need help with. when I start the truck i get a really load whining sound. heard possible its the torque converter.
