is this a bad idea body lift and tire question

i wana put a body lift on my truck i want to lif tthe rear 2 inches and the front 1 inch is that a bad idea and i wanna get bigger tires but will biggger tires fit on stock 16 inch rims or the 17 inch chrome stock how hard is it to do a body lift

No its not a bad idea. you can go with a 3" body lift. put 2" blocks in the back, and crank the front torsion bars to get that inch. Thats assuming you have torsion bars. And the tires size won't really matter. With just the 3" BL you can go 285/75/16 or about 33x11.5. and you can only go up from there
