Ok well well my step dad and I own a 78 cj5 304 3 speed 4x4(still needs work is some areas) anyway my uncle has a 82(i think) cj7 304 3 speed 4x4 renegade Has been sitting since 2000 its been around the block once or twice since then but thats really it. It wont ever idle(prob needs good tune up and carb adjustment) body is def shot floors and all. Soft top is toast basically the only usable things are frame(but not 100% about that) axles,engine(everything on it) tranny hood and grille some of the smaller stuff like guages and tilt wheel along with the warn hubs seats are ok but ugly *** red lol My uncle wont part it out or just give it away so do you think 500.00 is a good offer for it? Only mods I am aware of are fenderwell headers with side exit pipes. I was told by my pap that he thinks that he can sell if for 1,500 but really I think 1,000 is really pushing it. Tell me what you think it will end up being used for parts thats it.

Maby around 700-800 on it because it doesnt look to terribly bad. Im restoring a 79 cj7 and man its in much worse condition than that thing. Your lucky haha

 

Well I figure this we got our 78 cj5 base model with a 304 3 speed 4x4 about 130,000 miles 4 year old fiberglass body that never saw paint it ran perfect just needed a new axel since the splines stripped(came with everything to do it) and it came with a brand new soft top never put on we paid 800 for it.

This is as it sat so basically the biggest thing it needed was new wiring but it still ran only thing that worked was the brake lights. Didnt leak a drop of anything.
