Default Code P_1494 on my 2001 Quad Cab, 4.7L

I have the 1494 code and a CEL light on my QC. I have checked all the connections and hoses to the pump and best I can tell everything is fine. Any help on how to fix this problem would be appreciated. I didn't find much information on this code and people who have had it go away.

Ugh. EVAP codes are notoriously difficult to pinpoint...

In all likelihood, it is a vacuum issue. So, you probably have either a leaky / cracked vacuum line or a plugged vacuum line. Or some other part that the vacuum hooks up to is leaking, like a cracked nipple or some such thing.

My advice would be to start systematically replacing vacuum lines. I don't know of any other way to attack this particular code.
