Sincerely, other drivers.
They work just fine as long as you have them pointed right. Im not saying to leave them with stock lenses but you can still use them for the time being. I also had my buddy drive my truck and I drove his car and other than you being able to tell that they were not stock lights they didnt blind me.

Its illegal where I live to do that, and im sure that its illegal in most other places due to the way light refracts, bounces randomly and can blind other drivers.

If you want HID lights, you need to have projector lenses for everyones safety & it looks better.

He dont NEED projectors. All he NEEDS to do is aim them a bit lower then normal, like i did. I had them in my 2000 and in my 2001 and never had a problem.

To the OP. I had HIDs in both my truck 2000 and 2001 with HID headlights and Foglights, 6000k 55w headlight ballasts and 6000k 35w foglight ballasts. Dont use 55w in the stock foglight housings as it will melt the housing, unless your using glass, 35w work perfect. Also stay in the 4300-6000k range, anything below or beyond that heat range looks like total *** and isnt that bright.

Here are some photos of my 2 trucks with HIDs.
