Default LSD differentials for 4x4's

well i already changed the rear which i know is a LSD.
but on the front there is a green tag that says "3.55 open diff"
i saw this before i did the rear so i jacked it up and both wheels spun the same way,
this means my rear is a anti-spin/lsd. so i used the anti friction
additive in the fluid. can i really have 2 different differentials? i havn't changed the front yet and just wanted to make sure. both front and rear have 12 bolts.

and being a red truck i had to paint the cover.

Yes, thats normal. You'll rarely find a limited slip differential or locker in the front! Keep in mind that in a turn, the difference in rotational speed between the rear wheels is less than the difference in rotational speed between the front wheels, and you don't want your front wheels to lock up on you through a turn cause of a LSD or locker.

If you see a truck with a LSD of locker in the front, it will have some kind of an axle or hub disconnect on it for driving on the street!

P.S. Lol, I wouldn't have thought twice about your title if you hadn't posted your edit there!! :P

thankx, normal was what i was hoping to here.
i can good ahead and put some fluid in the front minus the additive.
only there is zero room up there so im gonna wait for a dry day. lol
