diffrential probleme?

Default diffrential probleme?

hey guys i have bad news here yesterday was installing my new set of lock wheels and ive changed the rear side i saw both gasket side diffrential are leaking but the truck still warranty.What i should do do it myself or try to complain to the dealership?

Sorry, but I can't make heads or tails of what you are trying to say...

Do you mean the axle seals are leaking? As in gear oil is leaking around the brakes?

Well axle shaft seals aren't too hard to replace. You can try to get the dealership to do the work, and if its under warrenty they should... but if they dont, you're looking at a 1-2 hour job to get it done.

You'll need to jack up the truck, take the differential cover off, pull the center pin in the differential and remove both axle shafts. Then you'll need a slide hammer to pop the old seals out and then you'll need to tap the new seals in. Be sure to grease the axle shaft contact surface of the seal before you put the axle shafts back in to prolong the life of the seal.
