Hello, new guy checking in here. I had a 94 Dakota CC 3.9 V6 ATx, bought new, from ~Sept. 94 till July 97. I really liked it, almost always got ~20 mpg.
I've looked for a pickup for some time now- it wasn't required to be a Dakota, best not to be too picky in NE Texas, where all used trucks are priced as though they're made of gold, silver, diamonds & rubies- but it 99.9% looks like I'm about to be in the Dakota business again!
Truck is an 02 CC SXT 3.9 V6 ATx. Owner has had *lots* of things done to it, mostly preventative, inthe past few months- & then he found a good deal on his dream vehicle. I plan to do a "siphon & refill" on the auto trans a time or two, just to be sure it's mostly ATF+4 in there.
QUESTION: In the truck bed floor, on the driver's side, are two small oval holes, obviously factory, spaced a few feet apart. What are these?
And wish me luck on getting the Dakota!
