neverending problem
Ok I have replaced a bunch of sensors and my best friend in MN is a Dodge master-mechanic and w/o having my truck up there cannot figures this out.
Sometimes when I start my truck, while at low speeds (ie. driving out of a parking lot after shopping) it will surge, no response from the throttle unless I punch it and sometimes it will flat out die. As soon as I turn the truck off, I can immediately turn it back on and problem is gone, truck runs perfect and strong.
Below is everything I've done;
crank & cam sensors, o2 sensor, iat sensor, coolant sensor, new iac valve, cleaned throttle body (removed to clean), all fluids changed, new spark plugs, pressure tested fuel pump, compression good, tps (twice), cai w/k&n, evap purge solenoid, replaced evap hoses
I think that's it, but will edit if I remember other stuff. It acts the same whether the a/c is on or not. It doesn't surge like rpm's going up, it feels more like it just wants to die and stumbles. I will buy a 12-pack for whoever can figure this out
oh yeah no codes either

This may be of no help, but I have had 2 different cars (not trucks) that had very similar problems. One was a sticking thermostat. When I would shut it off, it would relieve the pressure on it and allow it to open, then I could restart it and drive it perfectly all day. The other was a bad ground on the computer module which would not allow the chip to operate the engine properly. When I shut it off, it would allow the chip to reset and then it would run just fine. That took all day with an o-scope to identify.
Hopefully this gives you an idea on what it could be.
