Default I still can't figure it out...

I posted a week or so ago about my air not working correctly...

I have had it checked and it's fully charged, the shop said they had no idea so I'm coming to yall again.

Ok, when i turn on my truck and let it idle, the air will not work. If i crank it and start driving right off it will work, but if i stop at a red light or something the rpm's surge up and down. After i drive for a while and just try to idle with the air on it will work, until the rpm's stop surging, then it starts blowing hot air again... Sometimes it blows cold but then other times it blows ice cold and i can hardly stand it.

Does anyone have an idea as to what it could be?

Orfice-Tube,.. Evac the system, take the line apart, check to see if it's
clogged up. Or all black with crud. If it is;.. Time for a new compressor.

How do you go about evacuating the system?

Take it to the A/C repair guy...

Ask if they checked it first, since they should have, given you had them inspect it. May save you the cost of another re-charge. In fact, I would demand that they not require you to pay to have it evacuated and checked again if they failed to inspect it the first time they supposedly inspected the system
