Default Did a little cleaning...

Well, since I went through the other day and did a complete tune up on the truck, including plugs, wires, TPS, air filter, changed front and rear diff fluid, I thought it was about time to clean the IAC and the throttle body. The pictures I have taken are after I got it off the truck and taken apart, and are somewhat clean. wow, after seeing what it looked like before, it should run a little smoother!

And this is what the intake looks like! Since I might have to take it off anyway to get to the top bolts for the bellhousing to take the transmission down, I might just clean it up a little as well.

Yeap, just 4 bolts holding the TB on, but there are 3 small bolts (8mm) holding the throttle linkage bracket on, that needs to come off in order to remove the TB. Fairly straight forward process. I used a can of carb and choke cleaner, an old tooth brush and a few shop towels, and good as new!
