Default 2000 Dakota Speed Pulse Wire location

Hi,

I am installing a Alpine Deck and Navigation into my 2000 dodge Dakota Quad Cab 3.9L V6. I have made all the connections that i require except one. The navigation unit requires me to connect into the VSS or a Speed Signal Wire. I have looked through all diagrams and documentation but the closest that i can find is the service manual stating that dodge trucks stopped using the VSS. Is there an alternative wire that i can get the speed from (analog or digital).

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.
