Default Wanting To Buy: AC Compressor Clutch

After a hot fourth of July weekend that included a 6 hour road trip and some descent amount of A/C usage, the compressor's pulley is grinding and making horrible sounds. The compressor still works though since I still get nice cold air coming out the vents. It just sounds horrible any time the engine is running though, since that pulley always spins.

So if anyone knows where to buy just the clutch part of the A/C compressor, or if anyone has one they would like to sell, please let me know.

I am also open to any suggestions if this is something that can just be fixed without replacement.

Thanks!

EDIT: This is for my 2000 Dakota 3.9L

I'm having same prob. Been checking some on line auto parts stores. Advance has ac clutch bearings for about 18 bucks. I was going to post and ask if anyone had ever replaced them and how hard it is to do. That would be a cheap fix if it would cure the prob....replacing clutch or compressor will run into a pretty good chunk of change . Good luck and let me know how it goes..Brad
