Default rough idle

Hey guys,
I am new to the forum and need some help. I got lucky and found a 1999 Dakota with less than 50k miles. 47,654 to be exact. It is a great truck. But after a tune up with fresh plugs, the idle is still rough. I cleaned out the throttle body, changed the oil, air filter and cleaned the pcv valve. But I still have rough idle!

Can anyone give me some suggestions before I hand it over to the mechanic?

Sounds to me like you are having the same problem I had on my 2001 Jeep Cherokee. Turns out it was the injectors. One was fouled and instead of atomizing the fuel it was just dripping. You could check out your fuel filter as well. You never know what the opther owner did to the truck and maybe hey used "cheap" fuel like I did in my Cherokee. Anyways check into it being that two of my injectors were fouling and it cost me $850+. Hope this helps.

Yeah, in mine i had a rought idle and i threw a bottle of seafoam in my tank and it seemed ot help the injectors, but if they are fouled up, your gonna have to get new ones.
