Default Where do our truck pull in air for the heater?

Just wondering where the second gen dakotas pull in air from the outside to run through the heater vents? I ask because I am smelling antifreeze when I turn on the heat, I used to have a small leak under the hood but having a terrible time locating it. I want to check around a little more before I start looking into the heater core.

Most likely your heater core is leaking if you can smell antifreez but I thought under the windshield cowl thats where it pulled from.
