HELP!! My A/C works great for about 20 minutes and then shuts off. If I turn of the switch and wait 10 - 15 minutes, it turns back on and runs great for another 15 - 20 minutes.

When it runs it is ice cold.

Mechanic told me it's the compressor thermal shut off switch???

Any info would be appreciated.

I'm not the best for AC stuff but a low or high charge could always make it act up. Also you could always try to replace that switch. Check www.autozone.com for prices.
