Email SC website, tell them your dilemma, and see what they charge to unlock the unit.

Hell for 150$ you can get an SCT tuner, maybe 200$ cant remember, comes with custom tunes, and way better then Superchips in my opinion, also allows room to grow if you plan on going any bigger in the future.

hemifever@aol.com email and ask him (Sean) if your interested in the SCT. He is a good guy. Had SCT on both my 2000 and 2001, along with hypertech and superchips but SCT by far was the best of them all..

No they went down in price, when i bought mine it was 150$ plus an extra 100$ for unlimited tunes, it might have went back up to 200$ and 100$ for unlimited tunes, i haven't checked.

But if you don't need custom tuning, Sean (aka Hemifever) can send you the unit with "can tunes" on it mid grade, and high grade tunes, so you don't have to spend the extra 100$ for custom tuning, and if you DO decide to go custom in the future you can just contact him back and let him know you want custom tuning and pay the 100$, so either way its all good.

That's why i don't understand why people keep buying the superchips, SCT has a tone more options (tuner side) for these PCMs, he can do anything you want just ask him and give him your mods...
