Default Advice before buying 2001 Sport 4.7L 4WD

Hello,
Tomorrow I'm going to look at a 2001 Sport Quad Cab 4.7L, 4WD, Automatic with 84,467 miles. Price is $7495. The truck looks to be in really good shape from the photos. No rust or dents.

Is there anything I should look out for?
Is that a good price?

Thanks

do the key cycle to check if its throwing any codes. put the key in the ignition and cycle it to the ON position 3 times, on the third time keep it in the on position and the odometer will show if there are any codes.....kinda got shafted this weekend with a code that i let be when i bought it a year ago, now its kicking me in the a$$.

just got back from looking at the truck. First off the guy wouldn't move on the price. I offered him cash and nothing. As for the truck. The bed was really bent in spots, the tailgate barely closed, back bumper looked like it was hit, under the truck had ALOT of surface rust and the body had a TON of scratches on it. I would of bought it for $5000 - $5500. It wasn't worth $7400.

Thanks for the advice everyone

The hunt continues

Pictures can be a bitch can't they? Everything changes once you see something in person. Good luck on your hunt! You'll find a good deal eventually.
