so my spider gears in my rear end shattered and i was wonderin if any1 knew where to get replacement ones for a good price cause i cant afford a new rear end or a locker and cant find just the gears

by the way you want the 29spline, thats if you have the 8.25" rearend.

 

to have a shop just replace spider gears is gonna be alot in labor, why not get a JY axle and swap it yourself?

 

because im doing all the work ill never let a shop touch my truck just so they can charge me for labor when i can just do it myself for free

Spider gears are VERY easy to replace. But double and triple check the ring and pinion. A small chunk of the broken gears could have gotten in between the R+P and cracked or chipped it. If it has a crack or even a chip it is best to replace the R+P before it shatters.

 

i got a pretty good deal on a rearend fromk the junk yard through a buddy who works there 150 bucks so i think im just gunna go that way
