Hello all i am a new member to this forum and to dodge trucks lol, i jus got this 2000 dodge dakota 3 weeks ago for my daily and its ben great but last night on the way home from the track the gauge cluster lights turned off and never came bak on, all the gauges still work but there is no light on em it has an aftermarket white face cluster and lights up red. i chekd the fuses and pulled the cluster out to look at it and everything looked ok but iam still not getttin any lights on the cluster and drving with a dam cell phone on the cluster at night isnt cuting it aha. Any help is much appreciated cause i dont no were to go from here.
check to see if ur wipers are working or other lights in the interior like the dome lights when u open the door
it probly gonna be ur ctm (central timer module) its a little electrical box behind the drivers kick panel at ur feet, check the connections and see if that fixes it if not its prolly fried and ull have to replace it
dont pay the dealer to actually replace it theyll charge u a arm and a leg to do it, there are two different types of ctms one for vehicles with power doors and other stuff and one without
mine went out about a year ago and i have no power opts cost me ~250 to get a new one from the dealer and takes 5min to replace, if u have the power opts itll be 300+ and ull have to have the dealer program it for ur keyless entry and other stuff, but just buy it from the parts department then put it in in the parking lot then have them program it

i still have wipers, dome light blew out a week ago so i dont know bout that, i also dont have any power options in the truck its manual windows and locks, iam going to look for that CTM today and see if its bad or not, funny thing is lights went out right as i hit a bump on the road so maybe somthing is loose. im goin to chek the CTM and see...
