Default Possible Transmission problem (5spd)

97 3.9 5spd 2wd
I just got this truck and dont know much of the history on it.
It runs fine and has no noises or issues of any sort, UNTIL I drive for about 15 miles or so, then it makes kind of a lower sounding whoooo noise that sounds like it could be coming from the clutch and it gets hard to put into first, also if im slowing or take the transmission out of gear, either in N or with the clutch pressed, even both actually, my RPMS will still be in the 1.5k range, after driving for 30 or so miles, it makes the noise in 1-3rd and shudders sometimes on takeoff, twice though it has held the RPMS right at 2k, even stopped at a redlight. the CEL code it has is for the downstream O2. Any suggestions?
oh and once the whooo noise starts it even does it at a dead stop revving sometimes

the revving could possibly be the crankshft sensor, or the throttle position sensor, but it sounds like the trans needs a new throw out bearing, but if your gonna tear into it that far you might as well replace the clutch and pressure plate.

id always recommend Spec clutches!

and with the rear 02 code, was it the 'catalyst inefficiency'? if so, time to replace the cat. i have a universal from Summit on mine and its doing fine.

All i know is it was reading high voltage from the downstream sensor, which i think means running rich, or just bad
