i am haveing problems with my 1997 5.2 4x4 dakota. Everything is fine but the tranny will not shift out of overdrive. when i push the button nothing happens, no light on the dash and it doesnt ever drop out of o/d. ive pulled out the switch and checked it and it works fine. not sure what to check for any help??

 

I have a 98 2wd 3.9 and mine won't do anything while driving, only when it's in Park. Kinda sucks.

 

yeah ive tried it in park also and i still get nothing its starting to get old and i really wouldnt care that much but its real annoying not having it every time i tow my boat to the river
