Question My 01 Dakota AC stoped blowing.

I was driving around in my 2001 Dakota the other day and then my AC just stopped blowing out of nowhere.

Now I live down in South Texas where its always extremly humid, and HOT and without AC you pretty much bake.

Well anyways, I have never owned a truck or have had this problem.

I was wondering if anybody could tell me what might possibly be wrong with the AC. It will not even blow any air.

Could it just be that it is out of freeon? Or maybe a fuse burned out? Or a Relay or fan?

Can anybody tell me how much any of those repairs might run me? How how they possibly went bad. Could a wire maybe shorted out or something?

THANKS.

It's a very common problem on Dakota's and is cheap and easy to fix. See this thread for more info:

And welcome to the forum..
