3.9L freeze plug size (near oil filter)?

I was driving my 2000 Dakota (3.9L) tonight and when I pulled over to see why the temp was rising, I noticed that the freeze plug located next to the oil filter was COMPLETELY GONE!

Does anyone know the size of this thing?
