Default replaced front hub today

so i just finished replacing the hub for my drivers front wheel, overall pretty simple, just had to run down to the parts store and buy a socket for that darn spindle nut largest i had was a 1 1/4" and i needed a 35mm luckily i got my motorcylce license so just went up there spent 17 dollars on that s! thats insane! but when i got the hub off i recorded a vid cause i dont think its supposed to do this: lol

but when i was driving down the road after all this was done brakes sucked at first most likely just the brake parts cleaner on it then they got better but as i was driving down the road one of the hardware clips fell off lol had to run out in the middle of the road to get it, its prolly no big deal just didn't it have it on all the way, but im happy no more squeeking from the bearing and truck brakes in a straight line now so overall im happy, ill get the clip on later after everything has had time to cool down

edit: oh and here is what the old one looks like compared to the new one

We've done both on our ram, dodge (thankfully) makes it fairly simple, just expensive. Yea, I think yours was a little cooked. Both of the Ram's have come off with the back side bing burned blue.

Whoa, you trying to tell me Dodge made something simple? That's a miracle.

Yeah Abels, that hub looks like it's seen better days.

Yea surprisingly it was easy the hardest part was getting the caliper off which wasn't that bad

Yea that hub has got me wondering what the other side is like. Ill prolly wait and replace it when it goes
