Default Big Blower Motor Problem!

Hey guys, I really need your help. I have an 04 Dakota and the blower motor won't work. I replaced the blower motor resistor and the blower worked for a day and then quit again. I then replaced both the resistor and the blower motor. That worked for another day and then stopped. Each time, the resistor has a melted pin corresponding with the green wire that runs to the motor. What could be the problem now? Anyone else have this problem repeat itself so quickly even after replacing the entire blower motor? Any suggestions?

sounds like a short in the wiring somewhere, I had blower motor problem but no this bad, replaced the resistor and there she was. But to me i am not a pro at all but it sounds like there is a short with a power wire or a ground somewhere. I would start metering out the wires to ground and see what happens.
