Hi, my 4.7l seems to have a hesitation every morning just after first start. Outside temperature does not matter as it will do this on a warm or cool day. Also not necessary in the mornings either, but first start of the day. It only happens during the first acceleration, after that, say a couple of blocks away it is fine.

I am thinking something in the ignition but wanted to check her first on what others think.

check your battery. Our trucks absolutely hate to run on a bad battery. You might have a bad cell!

 

Ok, thank you for the suggestion - considering that I am still running on the factory battery probably a good idea to change it. :thumbsup:
