Does your truck have a temperature gauge in the gauge cluster? If so, is it reaching normal temperatures?

Your heater core could be clogged from deterioration. The heater core is inside of your dash way behind everything. In your case, it might be something you want to take to a mechanic for if you feel it is out of your depth.

Click on the link on the forum page that says "search this forum." Then type in heater core. It'll bring up some threads about heater core issues. Then you can decide if it is indeed out of your depth.

Had the same problem. you can see the two hoses coming from the heater core. take them loose splice in one to a garden hose the other to a bucket. No, you don't start the truck. turn on the water and watch the crap come out in the bucket. Swap hoes a couple times to make water flow both ways through the core. you'll be surprised at what comes out. fixed mind and didn't cost anything. good luck

very common on jeeps (made by same company) Use the ol' garden hose. Just make sure the truck is cold when you do it & don't let any kids or dogs get into the antifreeze. The stuff tastes sweet - but its pure poison.
