Default noob here

need help with a 2000 dakota 4x4. the headlights stay on with key off, already pulled relays, fuses, switches thay are connected to headlight circuit. and ignition system. thinking its a wiring problem to the headlights.

r u turning the lights off before or after u turn the key off? could be as simple as u turning em off too late which puts them to auto off i believe

josh is right, if you turn the truck off before you turn the headlights off it will keep them on for a minute or two. just the headlights though, not the tails or parking lights.

they all do that? mine doesn't if they are just staying on all the time it could be a short or ground on one of the wires somewhere
