my power steering pump is going bad from my 2000 Dakota magnum v8 4.7.
I have been to many junk yards and i cant seem to find it. I have checked ebay as well and all i find is the P/S pumps with the black reservoir. My truck has a round yellow-ish reservoir and i cant find it anywhere. Is this normal? is there a replacement and i can pull out of a different year truck?

 

ooooooh i had wicked p/s problems there was one done under warranty i had three pumps go bad from lordco auto parts i two diffrent suppliers. finally went to napa and picked one up. have not had an issue yet but i do carry a shorter fan belt just in case i need to take it out of the system
