Default Keeping It Running

My '99 Dakota starts but won't stay running unless I floor the gas? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

It sounds like its choking. I had this issue once on a motorcycle. Had a rag stuck in the carb.

Check your air filter isn't plugged with junk.

Idle Air Control Valve (IAC). I had the same issue with my '99 Dakota, replaced the IAC valve ($30ish) at Autozone and it fired right up (and stayed running with no help)!
