Ok guys i got a big question to ask. how can i get window paint that is made for cars and truck off the paint of my car.A couple of people from my school did it. while i was at work they went to my condo and did it in the middle of the night and i worked through the night till like 3 am to get a job done. and i dint realize it since we usually car pool to save gas. And it sat there on my car all weekend and i didn't have time to remove it and it rained a couple of times so the paint from the windows went on the paint off my dakota and it wont come off. what do you me recommend me trying to get it off.

 

Most of the time soap on water will get it off. If not try pressure washer. Only time it will be hard to come off if it has been on there for a month or more.

 

yea i tryed my local power wash car station and it wont come off i even tried picking it off with my fingers but it dosent want to come off. probably since i live in south florida

 

Most of the time hot water gets if off but try goo gone,wd-40 might work or clay bar. Thats all I really know.

maybe some type of cleaner wax or wax remover would help if that doesn't but it should

 

I used bug and tar remover on mine, only bad part is that it leaves a film on the paint, but a simple hand wash and the film comes right off.

 

Try windex and a micro fiber cloth, that takes off just about anything

 

x2 on the bug and tar remover, like turtle wax. stuf works on anything and you can scrub it without messing with your paint, cause it has a wax in it that it leaves on there.

 

You could try lacquer thinner.
