Default What removes Bradford pare tree sap best?

I've washed it twice, and used bug and tar remover twice, it seems like there is no effect. I've heard WD40, Goo Gone, rubbing compound and Coke. Has anybody had any luck removing very persistent sap with any of these or is there something else I should try?

ps, Dont park your truck under a Bradford Pare tree

cut down that damn tree, messiest tree ever. my dendrology teacher hates thoes trees with a passion for that exact same reason.

park it in the sun or use a blow drier to warm it up then try to scrape it off...i dont really know though.
i just youtubed it, try handsanitizer and a cotton ball.

It's my parents tree, otherwise i'd be gone. There messy, they smell, and there too weak to hold up in a strong storm, plus IT STAINED MY PAINT!!!!

+1 To cutting the damn thing down. One of them ruined the paint on my bed cover. It blew down in a wind storm a few weeks later...

And, birds frequent trees that you park under. So + another to cutting it down. Then, use your truck to pull the root out. Post pics if you do.

I took my truck to Mikes Car Wash and told them I have some persistent sap, they told me that if the wash failed to take the sap off the 1st time then they'd use something a bit more potent remove anything and let me take it through again, which is exactly what happened. I was very surprised to see that whatever they used worked and 90% of the sap on the hood was gone. The rest was softened enough for me to remove when I got home by putting a little bit of regular hand soap (not dish soap) on the end of a cue tip and rubbing it in in a circular motion with some force, then with a clean dry cloth, I wiped the soap off and buffed the area with a 2nd clean dry cloth.
Since the tree has to stay, I put a car cover over my truck for the time being.
