you can definitely tell the difference on tow mode too, i didnt tow but when I first got it my plugs were bad so it would ping on performance mode with 91 in it but ran great on tow mode and i, well asides from only the right foot dyno, think that there was a decent torque increase just driving around it's also more of a difference for auto's to then standard since it adjust shift points and stuff on them
