Default How Much Would It Cost

OK here is my question I have a fiberglass camper top that I am selling for 600.

I have someone who is interested but he drives a Nissan Frontier and my camper top is 5 inches too long for his bed.

He will pay me the 600 for the top but would like for me to find out the cost of how much it would be to cut the 5 inches to fit. Keeping in tact the window.

So I am asking all of you for any insite on this matter. On where to cut, How to cut and what someone would charge for the job, The buyer says he is not concerned with the paint for he will repaint it on his own.

Thank You,
Brian in Coral Springs- Florida

i would beleive he is better off buying a new one that fits his truck. i would expect at least 300 to cut and reglass it to its original and a safe strenth. i onlt paid 950 for mine and its an ARE cap.DSCI0020.jpg

!!! It would be *VERY* foolish to get into this. Sorry to pop your bubble, but he needs a camper shell to fit his truck, & you need a buyer who has a crew cab Dakota. Period.

Yeah, by the time you pay to have it cut, it isn't worth it. And the way the caps are contoured for the quad cab you would have to cut it right in the middle section somewhere and hope the two cross sections were identical.
