I have an 03 dodge dakota 4.7 4x4 Quad Cab with a little over 168k miles. Just recently it has started sticking in 4wd. I can play around with it and eventually it will switch back until today. Today, no matter what i do it will not switch back to 2wd. I hear the servo trying but to no avail. It clicks but the indicator like keeps reverting to 4wd and after so many tries the service 4wd light pops up and burns a hole in my forehead. I don't want to just start part swapping so if anybody has encountered this issue please help me shine some light on this situation, thank you!
