wiper fluid causing loss of paint on roof?
On other threads I have read that Dodge used a poor primer, so especially on roofs of dark colored trucks there will be white spots.
I have a black truck and while looking at the placement of the spots it seems completely logical that the wiper fluid may be spraying up there. Fur instance if you clean your windows while driving the fluid would spray on the roof.
I read on the fluid I always buy that it contains alcohol....
My truck has a spot right at the apex of where the wipers meet and where excess fluid would spray up while driving, and a spot at the rear of the roof right above the back light where fluid may also settle while driving.
Any thoughts guys.... just curious if there is a correlation or im just imagining.
thank ya :-)

My truck is silver and I have noticed this starting to happen right at the fron of the roof so you might be on to something . Back to straight water for me just incase this is expediting the process .
