Default Wanted Dakota

I'm kinda slowly looking for a dakota.
The this I have to have are:
4.7 V8
4x4
Quad Cab
Under 100k

Is there any way I'll find one of these for under 8k?

You should be able to easily find all that for under 8K tries craigslist and private parties though. Small dealers think they have gold these days...

I found my '04 with 145k miles - quad cab 4.7 4x4 - got it for $6700 -

But the price of trucks has gone up a ton in the last year - I had to drive 2.5 hrs to get to my truck too. The next closes one was 3 hrs in the opposite direction.

I bought mine, everything except the QC, for $7000 two years ago. I know the QC adds to the price but it shouldn't add more then $1000. So I think you could find one.

Be patient though. I wasn't patient the first time I bought a truck and came back to haunt me. Be patient and find a nice, one owner, clean truck. It will be worth it in the end.

The only problem is, the closest place I am ever going to get a vehicle is in Denver, that is 6 hours away. I live in the middle of Wyoming the closest town over 50,000 is 2 hours away
