Can anyone offer me any advise to the problems I am having with removing the top bolt on the starter for a 2000 Dakota Sport. The problem seems to be there is just no room to remove it with conventional tools. I can get a 5/8" socket on their but just can't seem to get enough room to turn.

Can someone please help me.

 

I've never done it but have you tried a extension if that wont work you might need to use a universal joint on your socket with a extension
