Dakota transmission????
I'm looking at a 2000 dakota w/ 3.9L V-6.
I think it has an A500 42RE/H transmission, I was wondering if this transmission has the same notorious issues as the A518 46RE/H's used in the late 90's rams?
If so, I'll run the other direction before I look any closer.
Any other notable complaints I should be concerned with?
Thanks in advance.

Look in the glove box it will tell you what tranny is in it. Really every dodge you own will have some sort of tranny prob sooner or later. I have the 44re and so far its been ok other than the slipping in 1st other than that its been good.
