Default 97 Dakota oil pan/differential removal questions

I have searched but did not find anything. I need to remove the oil pan on a 1997 4x4 Dakota 3.9 engine. It looks to me like if the drive axles are unbolted and the driveshaft removed that there are some bolts holding the differential in. Will the differential just drop out if the axles & driveshaft are disconnected and the differential bolts removed?
Are there any tricks or is there anything I have missed?
Thanks.

I recently had a hole in my oil pan and had the shop do the work.....they had to loosen the motor mounts, jack the motor up and then drop the axle and differential to get the old oil pan off and the new one in....they charged me 700 bucks to put in a 50 dollar oil pan.....

sorry, I know its not detailed instructions, but I'm thinking that they did not have to remove the front differential, just drop the axle down some.
