on cold mornings (below 40) when auto trans (42re) goes to shift between
2nd and 3rd, trans will slip until trans fluid warms up with moderate throttle.

when easy on the peddle trans has no slip in cold weather.

would adjusting bands (high and/or low) help or is it too late.
which one or both?

trans has 123000 miles. as for as i know no adjustments have been made.
